Just a little about myself, I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. I grew up feeling kind of odd because my hobbies and what I liked weren’t so popular back then in school. I wasn’t into soirees and gimmicks. And even on my prom, I asked my cousin out to be my date. At least, no uneasy feelings throughout that night! Hahaha! Yes, I got bullied a lot…hehe… But luckily, I found a handful of friends in my class who shared the same passion - art, video games, anime, cosplay.
I was always happy to join and represent my school during art/drawing/poster-making/junk art competitions all throughout my HS life because back then I get to be with people I can relate with. Also it’s a valid way to skip…Uhh…NVM :) Hey, my teacher pulls me out! Can’t argue with that! Hahaha! I also joined the cheerleading squad/hardcourt team because of my best friends (who even became captain of the team)! So yes, I can still do a few stunts! But then I just realised after, that being on the team kinda helped me stay away from people who might have wanted to pick on me. LOL
Anyway, having cosplayed for around 10 years now, I’ve seen the community grow and I am happy about that. Slowly, more and more people who didn’t know what cosplay was came to recognise and enjoy it as well! Thank you to everyone who has supported cosplay and the geek culture! Without you guys, all of this wouldn’t be possible! :’) How about you? Do you have any story to share with us? :)

All the dolls here, I got them myself. :) None were given to me by my parents. I find it more rewarding to earn things by working hard for them. :) Work hard, play harder! Hahaha!
